Harwood Methodist Church were constructing a new church in Bolton to replace the older building and create a new modern space for their congregation.
As part of this £1.6m project, the client wanted a way to allow all their congregation to see content including the order of service, news and event information.
They also needed an eye-catching way to display this content in the overflow and café area.
After a full site survey, our team of AV experts proposed the perfect solution to suit their needs and budget.
The team at LCD Showcase manufactured and installed a large indoor LED display in the main area, as well as a 75” commercial digital signage display in the overflow area. Our team also installed the solution complete with LCD Showcase's CMS (content management system) and Wyrestorm software. The software package enables the client to control all the content and audio on both displays in both areas from any location.
When not in use, the client can display a ‘stained glass window’, church announcements and events on both displays.
The LED display means that the light from the large windows of the building do not affect the picture quality, rather than a projector system that would become washed out.
Harwood Methodist Church now has a complete digital signage solution that can been seen in any weather conditions, enabling the congregation to see the order of service, news and events throughout the service.
The client also has full control of their system using the software and content management system.
This eye-catching solution has been a great addition to the modern building and the congregation use the displays each week.
